Dx3 is an enterprise-level hosting provider, specialising in the Magento eCommerce platform.
Our task was to undertake a full brand identity refresh, including updated sets of brand guidelines and a full website build.
First, we migrated the existing site content, then rewrote the text to reflect their updated service offering. We also sourced a set of appropriate, high-quality stock images to add visual variety and context to the site.
Our process for rebranding business assets is the same as creating branding from scratch. Whether it is invention or reinvention, we still focus on the core aspects of what makes a brand.
Great brands should represent your business to the core. We can achieve this through visualising the key missions of the business, its area of expertise and its tone and personality.
The logo we designed has clear typography with the cloud icon integrated into the text through the DX3 name. Through the cloud iconography, it’s made clear that it is a cloud based company, therefore perfectly reflects the brand and its positioning.
We settled on a pallet of grey, blue, and orange to be used across their assets. These colours evoke a sense of professionalism, determination and security, which reflect the core principles of DX3 as a company.
The task was to modernise their visual presentation and readjust the focus of the site. This was so we could account for the all of their product offerings, not just their specialism in Magento.
It was imperative that the site reflected the technical nature of their business. We achieved this by making it clean and modern, with the content being visually led. This included using high-quality stock photography that reflected DX3’s business operations. We also used imagery which presents the viewer with their clients and who they work with. Their mission statement is ‘A hosting service built around you’ and this was a key area for us to get right in the website’s content. We wanted to show their scalability, their adaptability and put faces to the people their services can benefit.
After the website launched, we implemented the brand refresh across all Social Media platforms and their Mailchimp newsletter to allow for a consistent style. We then sent a mailshot to all subscribers to reintroduce them to DX3, and the all-new branding.
Rebrands present a perfect opportunity to reintroduce yourself to your customer base.
